We have been receiving good response from sites who are willing to be volunteers for our Artena 7.12 Alpha Test Site, thank you for your participation. As part of the Alpha Test Site Requirement, we would like to provide as much details as we can to facilitate Alpha Test. Alpha Test is anticipated to commence on the 18th June 2007 and will end on the 6th of July 2007. SMSS will undertake the conversion process from site databases from Interbase to SQL 2005. Please submit your databases before the 11th June 2007 to SMSS for the conversion process and to enable us to ship the databases back to you before the 18th June 2007. As to date, site who have volunteered are NMIT, EIT, Northtec, SIT, Weltec, Wairaki, Te Whare Wananga O Awanuiarangi and Whitireia.
Attached is the Artena 7.12 Alpha Test Coverage document which will be a guide for the sites on details of the test scope for Artena, Enquiries and eNrol. As for Aware, SMSS have engaged with NMIT to carry out the testing. We are sorry for not being able to accommodate other sites who are running Aware due to our resources been allocated for the new development. Also attached is the Defect Tracking form for sites to log the defects encountered during the Alpha Test. All defects forms need to be directed to our Mr.Mike Morgan at mike@smss.org.nz and all technical related issues regards to Alpha Test to be directed to our Mr.Mark Stephen at mark@smss.org.nz.
