Artena is a student management software system that works primarily with the Ministry of Education (MOE) for the purposes of tracking and maintaining student tertiary databases. It integrates all requirements of tertiary education administration into one software package and has been developed with input from many New Zealand Polytechnics, Institutes of Technology, Colleges of Education, Te Wananga, and private training establishments (PTE’s). Development commenced in 1995 and the software was first implemented in institutions in 1997, with various updates continuing on at the present.
Artena has a wide range of features that allows the user to track and manage students from the point of admission and enrolment, through to graduation.
